The Crest Cap

$60.00
Description

ONLY 50 MADE 🧵🪡

A true unisex classic built from 16 ounce waxed canvas in a rich burgundy & soft beige that simply looks good on everyone.

Designed for all-season wear, this cap is heavy enough to hold a bit of warmth (while still venting), is lightly water-resistant, and designed to break in the way good canvas should - softening, shaping, and taking on character with every wear.

We wanted the first version to feel seasonally right in a low key elevated burgundy. A unisex fit with an adjustable gold-brass backstrap, finished with three marks of home - the Coastland crest up front, our New England nod on the side, and Coastland Supply stitched across the back.

Only 50 were made.

All orders include Free Shipping within the US.

Due to our limited production run, all orders are final sale - no returns or exchanges. We deeply appreciate your support and understanding as we keep things small, intentional, and built to last.

PRODUCT CARE

Over time, the water-resistant finish on waxed canvas naturally softens.
When that happens, you can refresh it using a standard canvas wax (often called fabric wax or canvas re-proofing wax). A light reapplication will restore the water-repellent properties and extend the life of the cap.

Spot clean only.
Use a damp cloth and mild soap if needed. Do not machine wash — waxed canvas and brass hardware deserve gentler care.

Avoid soaking.
A light mist or snowfall is fine, but prolonged exposure to heavy rain will diminish the wax finish faster.

Let it dry naturally.
If the cap gets wet, reshape it by hand and let it air-dry away from direct heat.

Expect character.
Waxed canvas softens, creases, and develops a lived-in patina — that’s part of the charm.

Store in a cool, dry place.
Keep away from direct sunlight when not in use to preserve the color and finish.
