The Moon Tote 2nd edition reimagines the proportions of our original in black, built from our New-England-Ready 24oz waxed canvas that wears in beautifully over time. The canvas will soften and the shape will begin to reflect how you live with it, becoming unmistakably yours over time. Pebbled black leather reinforces the base and edges, while a buttery leather flap adds a subtle touch of refinement.
You told us the first edition ran heavy. For the second edition we lightened it slightly by leaving the interior canvas unwaxed. Inside, the canvas stays raw and soft to the hand.
We also added a travel strap across the back. It slides over a suitcase handle so the tote rides through the airport instead of on your shoulder. When you're home it comes off and the back panel goes flat again.
The soft leather flap secures with adjustable side straps, allowing the bag to cinch tight, sit looser while still enclosed, or stay fully open (my personal go-to). Two handle lengths offer the option to carry by hand or over the shoulder.
Inside, the layout remains true to the original: three interior pockets, a leather key fob, and an oversized leather Coastland mark. The exterior keeps the rear phone pocket exactly where you want it, and four metal grommets finish the base so the bag wears in, not out.

Single metal hook closure with adjustable leather straps. Wear it open for easy access or fold it down and secure when you want everything in place.

Interior organization with three compartments and an attached leather key fob. Thoughtful, not overbuilt.
Black metal hardware throughout, including reinforced grommets at the base for durability and longevity.
Reinforced stitching at straps, flap, and stress points. Because function should hold up to daily use.

PRODUCT CARE
This tote was built to be used, then used some more. Spot clean as needed with a gentle soap and damp cloth. Avoid harsh detergents or machine washing, which can warp the structure and affect the fabric finish.
Got a scuff or stain you like? Even better. Like a good pair of jeans, this bag wears in beautifully.
And when it's time to make it more yours, add a patch, stitch on a memory, or bring it to your favorite tailor. Character encouraged.

After long research looking for a classy and chic weekender, I am delighted to say, this bag is beautiful and substantial. There are details inside the bag that makes it far more beautiful. The extra longer handles that are tucked away are well thought of. Gorgeous bag, thoughtful design, high quality material, and beautiful embellishment inside rounding out the high-end touches. This new release has a luggage strap now so you can easily slide it onto the handle of your roller bag while traveling. Itβs bigger than I anticipated (which Iβm glad about) so it can be used as beach tote, travel carry on, work bag, yoga bag, or whatever really, and itβs rugged enough to handle being taken with you for it all. Looking forward to ordering more from their collection!

High quality materials. My only thing itβs kind of heavy already with nothing in it but that does not take away from the quality. Itβs beautiful, leather, beautiful canvas while structured. The mechanism is a bit difficult, but Iβm sure itβll be something that I can get used to.

Absolutely gorgeous bag! Craftsmanship is stunning, the bag is substantial without being heavy, and the interior has tons of space and pockets for smaller items. The hardware is beautiful and the leather accents are exquisite. This bag is insane, I love it.
